Tisha!

What was your life like before Ideal?

Tisha: I had a specific event that precipitated my search for healing. My injury was whiplash in nature, but not from a forward/backward motion. It was to the side. It was so intense that I had lower cervical and upper thoracic bulging disc and damaged nerves under my shoulder blade. Initially, I treated it like an injury that needed to be tended to by an orthopedic specialist, massage, and physical therapy. I had no signs of improvement, and my quality of life was rapidly spiraling downward.

To offer just a glimpse of what I was feeling was almost a level 8-9 pain that never let up and would jump to a 10 in an instant because of the damaged nerves. Reaching forward for my toothbrush had to be carefully thought out. As you might imagine, showering, washing my hair, normal household chores, and simply hugging someone would bring tears to my eyes. I felt utterly hopeless and desperate.

What is your life like now?

Tisha: I have utilized chiropractic for many years in my lifetime, so the concept was not new to me. But never have I had a chiropractor approach the care like Dr. Brandon. His ways and methods are intuitive, align with the body's natural desire to heal itself, and extremely sensible. As a registered nurse, I fully comprehend the human body and its functions, and his practice approach reminded me to patiently come into agreement with that process. I can now say that I am fully and completely recovered from those terrible months of lonely pain and fear that I would never get better.

If you could narrow down to one reason why someone should receive chiropractic care, what would that reason be?

Tisha: You can get better! Allow chiropractic care to speak to the voice of your body already talking to you. Your body knows what to do- let chiropractic facilitate that process.
